It doesn't say on the news all it says is that it happened Wednesday and it's 11+ ahead in Baghdad. I know someone in that squadron. I need to know and please be nice, this is someone close to me.

It just says Wednesday meaning today. All seven on board were killed. This is the fifth helicopter crash in just over two weeks in Iraq.
Some say it was a mechanical problem and one Iraqi Air Force official said it was hostile fire.

They won't publish specifics until after they've notified the family. If you happen to know his next of kin, contact them as they would be informed within hours of confirmation of KIA or MIA
