What is the most recommended brand for DVD+R Media? For video and file storage?

If you can give me your opinion on all of these brands, it'd be great, or just tell me which you'd prefer.

Dynex
Fuji
Maxell
Memorex
Sony
Verbatim

I think there are more, but I want to choose within these. I heard that Verbatim, Maxell, and Sony brands are good. Please tell me which one you prefer and why.

Verbatim should be your first choice. These are first rate material. Never had a coaster and they play perfectly on all my players--old and new. Sony is not bad also. Never ever use Memorex, they use real bad quality dye on the disc.

if you are looking for a brand name of disk, go with the Verb's... a lot of how good a disk is comes down to the DYE that it uses... always try and use a disk that has a RITEK DYE, Im not a big fan of maxwell, had a ton of coasters of a spindle once, so there a no go.
