After her third heat before she is six years old only if she has excellent health, pedigree, and weighs five ponds and the male is smaller and has an excellent standard formation and equal or better formation and information. Both my Chi's are pure bred rescues with excellent conformation and health. They came with their vaccinations and health checks and micro chips. Spayed and neutered and they are loving loyal pets. I had to pick mine from hundreds. They each cost less the annual shots, neutering and spaying and the micro chips. Please do not breed your pet. There are hundreds to pick from in every county in all 50 states. Go get the size and color you want at any small dog or Chi Rescue. They live nearly twenty years. My Chi's are arranged for in my will as they will probably both outlive my life expectations. I have had 12 Chi's, two at a time in 56 years. The Chi's I have now, the male is 6 1/2 the female 26 months.

Please dont breed your dog. She is small, im sure, but lets all realize that there are actually no such thing as a teacup anything. They are just tiny dogs that have been bred and bred to death to be that small and it doesnt make for a good dog, healthwise that is. There are just too many homeless, abused and neglected dogs in the world becuz people want to breed their digs cuz its cute or they are just plain irresponsible. Chihuahuas are notorious for having difficult births becuz of their size. Are you prepared for the enormous cost of a c-section and all the care this involves? I doubt it. Please dont breed your dog. Have her spayed and let her live out a nice happy and healthy life.

Actually, there is no such thing as a teacup Chihuahua.
Please do some reading and study before you attempt
any thing with your dog.
You may have a real small dog, which I bet she is really adorable, however there is no such true breed as a teacup Chihuahua. Some breeders call them that just to make a few more dollars.
I own two Chihuahua's and love em to death, Good luck with your little girl * smile*

No good age. Please spay it.You obviously know not a thing about it. I know your dog is not of breeding quality as there is no such thing I've been told as a teacup. They are just ones that are too small to fall within breed standards and sell better when you call them teacups when they are actually just bad reps of the breed. Maybe you don't even know that.Keep the stud where he is.You are only contributing to the killing of dogs daily. As long as there is one left standing on death road there is no need to breed! It is very irresponsible .

With any breed of dog you are better off waiting until she is at least 2 yrs of age. I personally rather have the stud at my house, rather than my dog going to thier house.

if you really want to breed it i would say about 3 years. 1 year is too early and some mothers give up because they are too young. she will probably have around 5-7 puppies.

if you have to ask all of these questions, you shouldn't be breeding her. do your research, get your dog proven does your dog have show titles, does it meet breed standards and on and on and on.....are you willing to shell out $1000's of dollars on a pregnancy, not to recoup any of it?
