Whatever it is, don't let it discourage you from eating your favorite foods, even if they are spicy or sweet, maybe it's your body just giving you a reaction to something it may not be familiar with or used to. That's ok than girl, spicy are mostly prohibited if you produce a certain amout of heartburn....

I have never seen a correlation between spicy food (I eat all kinds of spicy stuff -- Cajun, Thai, Tex/Mex) but everyone is different. Your best bet is to watch the spicy stuff, or, if you want to use yourself as a test case, try eating something spicy for dinner on a night where you don't have to go to work or school the next day. If you get those hangover symptoms again the next morning, you'll know that spicy food is not good for your head.

Could be a potentially allergy that may have effected your airways and lead to a bad night sleep... or maybe something totally unreleated to the food.
Capsaicin, the chemical that makes peppers spicy, is actually thought to induce the release of endorphines, which would have nearly the opposite reaction as a hangover.
Hangovers are caused by cogners, the chemicals that give many spirits their flavor and are less common the clearer the spirit.

lmao. There is no such thing as immediate relief bro. There's no one stop solution. The best thing to do for a hangover is PREVENT it in the first place by keeping yourself hydrated while you drink - throw in several glasses of ice water and be sure to drink water before you go to bed. To relieve a hangover once you've got one, all you can do is drink lots of clear fluids (plain water is best), relax and stay out of the sunlight. You can take aspirin or ibuprofen to help with headache and Pepto or an antacid to soothe your stomach if you are nauseous. Oh yeah, weed is great for a hangover too.

If it's not an allergy to some particular spice, or monosodium glutamate that may have been in your food - it could be that the spices were adulterated with spurious chemicals additives (colors, preservatives, etc).
Not exactly a "hangover", but you should avoid that kind of food next time.

Some people get headaches after consuming food with too much salt, or msg.
A stiff neck from a bad pillow can also give headaches on waking up.
