Of course it's not wrong. It's safe. Tell him you have been tested and you know you are safe. (because the only way to know for sure is to be tested) And now it's his turn. (Or if he wants you can go together and both get retested.
In society today I would expect the guy to do this and if he felt put off by it then I would have definite doubts about him.

Of course you can ask a guy to do the same. In fact, you should. It's to protect yourself. If he doesn't want to get tested, then that's not good AT ALL. Don't be fooled by him saying, "I don't need to get tested. I know I don't have anything." No one DEFINITELY knows until they see the results on paper. Also, ask him if you can see the results for yourself. I always show my partner the proof and expect the same because if you don't, you can end up with some life changing disease. There's nothing wrong with asking him to take it. In fact, it's bad not to.

First you should probably ask him if he's ever been tested before, if he says he has and doesnt have anything, it's up to you to decide if you trust him or not, or if you feel like he should get tested again. But no, it's not wrong to ask. You have a right to.

I would say the best way to go about doing it so there is little to no awkward feelings is to suggest that you both go down together to get a "clean bill of health". even though you say you already have been, he will feel super uncomfortable if you ask JUST HIM to go get tested. say something like "now that we're getting to the next level in our relationship i think we should make sure we are both 100% ok to do so". if you've already been, then you should have nothing to fear. if hes never been, you can use your experience (you dont have to tell him youve been there before....) to help calm his nerves.

If you sit down and talk about it you may find out that he's already been tested.
If it's important to you then tell him you want him tested and be prepared for him to demand to see the results of your test.

Of course ... how else would you know ... and he shouldn't get offended at all ... he should be happy that he has a woman that actually takes the right steps before entering into a sexual relationship ... very mature on your part ... good luck ... !

You should demand that he gets tested. If he says he has recently ask for proof. If he refuses dont sleep with him. If he doesnt want to keep you safe hes not worth getting involved with.

Definitely ask. The way the world is going right now, you can never be too safe. And if he cares about you, he won't think twice before doing it. It is responsible.

Hell yes you can! Dont ever be worried about asking someone to do that it is the smart thing to do tell them that you dont gamble with your life and they can take a hike if they have a problem with it
