Ok now this is such an easy and simple recipe, you simply cannot go wrong!!

This is stuffed chicken wrapped in bacon!I make it all the time and cannot go wrong!

All it is is chicken breasts stuffed with cheese wrapped in smoked bacon.

Ingredients:
One large chicken breast per person
50g of cheese (stilton for a elegant touch, or just mature chedder otherwise)
2 pieces of smoked bacon (or 6 pieces of pancetta) per person

Thats it!!!
All you need to do is turn the chicken breast over to the rough side(not the neat smooth side) and make a small pocket so that the cheese will stay in. then stuff it with the cheese. wrap the bacon around and secure with srting or i normally use cocktail sticks(as long as you remember to remove them!!) cook in the oven for about 25 minutes but be sure to check it is not pink in the middle at all before you serve it! the last thing you want is to food poisen her!

You can serve this with vegetables (buy microwaveable ones if you dont know how to cook them) and pre prepared roast potatoes!

You can also serve a sauce with it as well if you like!

All you need to do is put one small very finely sliced shallot into a frying pan with a tablespoon of olive oil, and fry until softened on, add one clove of garlic and cook for a further minute.. Then add about 250 mls of double ream and about 100-150g of stilton cheese(or mature chedder) and allow to melt stirring continually. pour over the chicken!

Note: you dont HAVE to use garlic, and if really necessary use a normal onion, and not a shallot, but the sauce wont be as nice. Also do not let the garlic burn, in a hot pan the galic will go very golden very quickly, and it should not be golden at all really.overcooked garlic is not nice.

you couldnt get a simpler recipe, so good luck she will love it!!

Make some sort of casserole with a side of fresh cooked asparagus in a garlic butter sauce. I have an awesome casserole recipe of my own that is VERY simple to make and she'll love it!!!....

Chicken Broccoli Casserole

3 Cups Broccoli florets
2 cups Cooked Cubed Chicken (you can use ham or turkey also)
1 can Condensed Cream of Chicken Soup (can be mushroom or celery also)
1 cup Mayonnaise
1/2 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
1 Tbsp. Curry Powder
2 cups Cubed Fresh Bread
2 Tbsp. Butter or Margarine, melted

Cook broccoli in water in a covered saucepan or microwave until crisp-tender; drain.
Place broccoli in a greased 11 x 7 x 2 inch baking dish; set aside.
Combine chicken, soup, mayonnaise, parmesan cheese, and curry powder; spoon over broccoli.
Top with bread cubes and drizzle melted butter over that.
Bake casserole uncovered @ 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes.

ENJOY!!!!!

You can seriously make anything look gourmet! For example, the butter garlic sauce is simply butter and garlic, now wrap the asparagus in groups of 5 with long yellow cooked beans. Tie the beans around the asparagus....Wholla! Gourmet at it's finest!

This is the same response I gave to a guy who wanted to cook for his wife. It's quite simple, and easy, yet VERY impressive.

How about tortellini with sage brown butter sauce, bruschetta, and salad?

At the store, pick up some fresh tortellini, some fresh sage, and basil (produce section), some baby salad greens, a loaf of Italian bread, sun dried tomato and garlic/olive paste (Greek olive bar), fresh garlic cloves, real butter, a nice tort or cake for a desert and some good wine...

Cook the pasta as instructed on package
Add 1/2 butter to frying pan and 'fry' till it starts to turn brown and smell nutty. Add some shredded sage, and fry sage till wilted. This is the sauce for your pasta. If it's too 'thick' add some water from the pasta. Toss the pasta in the brown butter sauce, and top with fresh sage.

For the bread, slice the bread, and lightly brush them with oil. Stick them in the oven for a few minutes to toast them. Then rub the garlic clove over them to give them a hint of garlic flavor. Top them with the tomato garlic/olive mix, drizzle them with olive oil, and put a fresh basil leaf on each slice.

Throw together a quick salad, and you're golden.

I know it sounds like it's a lot of work, but you can get this all done in the amount of time it takes to cook the pasta.

Buy a couple of those bacon-wrapped filet mignon steaks at the grocery store and fry them in a skillet with a little oil. Serve with baked potatoes, fresh steamed green beans or broccoli and some type of bread or rolls with butter. Add a nice salad (ceasar) first for an appetizer. This meal is a snap and is fabulous to come home to. My boyfriend makes it for me sometimes and I love it.

A fresh grilled chicken ceasar salad is wonderful too and you can buy the chicken (Tyson's) already grilled at the store. Buy one of the bagged ceasar salad mixes and serve it with a cream soup and bread.

Cooking for someone on the first date is hard because you probably dont know them that well or what they like to eat. For example, i'm a very picky eater and it would be almost impossible to cook for me if you didnt know what i ate. I'd recommend taking her to restaurant so she can choose something. If you're set on cooking the dinner and kinda know what she likes and dislikes, then check out this website http://www.recipezaar.com/
this could be fun and easy and even a conversation starter: http://www.recipezaar.com/30745
Fried rice is always good in my opinion:

Pasta:

For the dessert, i'd buy one from the store.

You probably want to also include some salad, some fresh ciabata bread with butter and some white or red wine.

If you can grill...go get some boneless chicken breasts, pineapple rings (can kind works good), and the microwaveable rice pilaf and some kind of brownie or something like that for dessert. Marinate the chicken (or just brush it on when it's grilling) with Teriyaki sauce (best kind is McCormick's...it's thick and works as a sauce on the side as well). Grill the pineapple rings (some with Teriyaki on them and some without, just in case) just long enough to warm them and get a little grill mark on them. Nuke the rice and you're good to go on your main course. The hardest part will be the grilling.

I would get one of those Bertolli frozen pasta dinners that come in a bag, that you dump into the skillet and heat. Being a chef I can truly tell you it's as good as what you'd get in most restaurants and your date will think you whipped it up yourself if you throw away the bag! Get a good refrigerated salad and assemble that ahead... and maybe a cheesecake. Done. Here is the link to Bertolli and some of the other reviews from fellas in your shoes. Good luck!!

Okay..........Im going with this one because its easy, tasty, and it requires grilling, which is VERY manly and sexy to us women.

Steak sandwiches, french fries, and salad.

Get some salad in a bag and a few different dressings so she has a choice.

Get 2 strip steaks. Marinate in a ziplock bag with a little Worstechire (sp?), salt, and pepper.

Also buy:
Hoagie rolls
raw Horseradish in a bottle (look in the refrigerated section)

Get a bag of shoestring (really thin) french fries.

** Grill your steak (can broil if you dont have a grill)
Slice into strips and put on a TOASTED hoagie roll. Top with horseradish and serve with fries and salad.

OK, this is really easy and delicious. Get a package of chicken breast. 4 would work well. Wrap each breast with a piece of raw bacon. Add the bacon wrapped chicken to a frying pan and cook over medium low, turning occasionally until the chicken is cooked through. Remove the chicken to a plate. In the same pan add a can of cream of chicken soup and 1 c. of sour cream. Mix it well while heating it up. When it is mixed, add the chicken pieces back in and spoon the sauce over the chicken. You can serve this over rice or cooked pasta. Its really tasty and she will think you went to a lot trouble but its sooooo easy.
