Sikhs are not allowed to eat meat and if they do they especially are not allowed to eat beef, as the cow is a sacred symbol in india.
Many people cook vegetarian dishes curries with chapati/ naan and these are very spicy dishes. They eat dairy products and everything else except meat...but there is exceptions.

I have a brother in law that eats anything that is not meat or eggs (embryos) Dairy is cool though.

i think most are vegetarians although their religion does not say that they are not allowed to eat meat. the ones that are not vegetarian usually do not eat beef through respect to hindus i think.

a workmate used to eat vegetarian meals. all home made and curried or spiced. very nice, and they are never over weight.
