We all judge others by placing ourselves in their shoes. Hence our impression of humanity is a reflection of ourselves.

Some desire to do good. There are plenty of good people out there. If not, what would God want with us anyway. However, by nature we are also interested the majority of the time in what we want more than what is beneficial for all.
Some could even argue that the only good in us, is what we have been given by God.
I don't have a negative view of humanity, just on what will happen to us without Jesus. All the good deeds in the world will not measure up if we do not love God. Why would he want people with Him, that do not want to be with Him?

Have you ever met any humans? Have you ever looked honestly at yourself?? At our base we are selfish creatures. Selfishness breeds all sorts of bad behaviors. Greed, stealing, lying, cheating, murder, rape,... We have the ability to learn how to be more selfless and to respect and honor other people. Ever had a kid? You have to teach them to be good, they already know how to do the wrong things.
It's not bashing, it's just reality. We have all sinned, it says it in the Bible, but I can see that it is true. Our moral values do not come from the threat of hell. We obey because we love God, and we love people. Love conquers evil.

You have been reading the comments of fake christians.
They are the result of their counterfeit 'christian' religion.
Forgive them, for they know not what end is up.
Genuine Christians are seriously happy, since they serve the happy God.

You paint with a pretty broad brush and sound like the Christians who complain that so many Atheists and Agnostics are that way.

I believe this. We are all imperfect and that means that we all will do evil. I have the belief that all humans have the potential to reach moral "goodness" but I will not see it as long as I live.

It's what God says that matters.
As the Scriptures say,
No one is good-
not even one.
No one has real understanding;
no one is seeking God.
All have turned away from God;
all have gone wrong.
No one does good,
not even one."
"Their talk is foul, like the stench from an open grave.
Their speech is filled with lies."
"The poison of a deadly snake drips from their lips."
"Their mouths are full of cursing and bitterness."
"They are quick to commit murder.
Wherever they go, destruction and misery follow them.
They do not know what true peace is."
"They have no fear of God to restrain them."
Romans 3:10-18
