What are the misunderstandings or crossed wires that get in the way sometimes of a relationship between a man and a woman? e.g him not listening to her etc.....

1) Men are usually rather direct and prefer things simple. To them, not everything is some deep and meaningful reflection on their emotional state, the relationship, or the condition of all mankind. If you want to have an in depth 'discussion' make sure it's something important. And if you do, be prepared to accept the answer you get unless there's direct evidence to the contrary; dragging things out until you get the answer you want is a sure way to make him dread every conversation.

2) Guys are not into mind games. Emotional manipulation and mixed messages create confusion at best and eventually resentment. For example, you might tell a guy that he should stop being stubborn and stay home when he's sick; then when he does he hears you telling your friend on the phone he's being a baby. He will *never* trust you or show any weakness again. This also means that when a woman says, "nothing's wrong" or "I don't care" or "forget it" - you should expect him to take you at your word. Otherwise he will start to second-guess everything you say.

3) Women like to talk, guys like to do things. Don't expect him to articulate his emotional state and its significance every moment you're together. We don't do that.

sex well women need sex just as much as men do... but women can turn down sex faster than men can... and women get irritable faster than men... also women want intimacy not just to get laid so there can be problems when a guy is just trying to get him self off and not worrying about his girls needs..
