To the dude that said 99% of scientists say it's real. Is it just me or is that the best you can up with. Most of the scientific community once thought that the earth was flat. They believe that the sun revolved around the earth. Just because a lot of people believe it doesn't make it a true fact. And there is a lot up for debate . There are animals that don't go along with evolution. Rivers, the Grand Canyon. Tail bone Wisdom teeth their so called arguments, we found uses for all of them,. Don't beleive evolution with studying all the facts about evolution and creation. there are many things in evolution that don't add up.
First of all science must be observable, repeatable and draw a definits conclusion. The theory of evolution does none of these so it can't be classified as science....
We don't observe evolution the only thing we observe is adaptation. This is not the same as evolution. You adapt to the surroundings and not evolve into a totally different animal.
Another thing wrong with the evolution theory is they can't hold to one truth. They say that first they evolve slow then the next day it's fast so what is up with that.
Then there is the chart with what they tell how old the bones are by the layers of dirt. Well for their information we have found tree's that go through several layers of this dirt. then there is the graveyard, where they found many bones of animals that are supposed to billions of years apart but they were found mixed throughout and all together.
Plus there is the mising link that they didn't find then the fact that half of their evidence is made up and isn't real,. the skull there was the butterflies on the tree.
Then we found a footprint that has the imprint of one oof the first lifeforms in it as if the man had squished it while walking. The scientist said it was just a rock and not an actual footprint..
There are many of the evidence's that scientist used that we can prove false so just look at the facts....

There are two possible responses to this question, and they are:
1) Evolution has been proven. The next time you come down with an infection, do feel free to ask the doctor for the old medicines they used, before the bacteria *evolved* to develop an immunity to them.
2) "Just a theory" is a bunk phrase. Under scientific principles everything that has been proven is "theory" - the most accurate knowledge we have right now that we know is at the very least on the right track. Gravity, medicine and electricity are all still "theory." The word you are looking for is "hypothesis," which means unproven conjecture. The existence of God, for example, is "hypothesis," whereas evolution is good, solid "theory."

If evolution (or any other similar theory) is false, the Universe is based on just too much "miracle stuff". Science would be in tons of trouble explaining anything at all (this is, have you ever consider how illogical and impossible many physical laws would be if everything came out of nothing from one second to the next?--ok, I know, in a whooole week.) People don't see how other science fields are affected for these facts.
I'm not saying with this that I don't believe in a Creator. What I'm saying is that, if you analize everything that has been created, you will find that each thing in the universe has it's own "manual of assembly" (the most clear example is the DNA, the complete instructions to create you in each one of your cells.) If you compare the organic manuals at hand, they seem to talk about an evolutive process that correlates them all (unless all that is nothing but a divine practical joke.)

If you thought your vote counted so much, you would not have bothered to ask this question. So I guess you are still open to knowing truth.
No doubt that there is scientific evidence that evolution has taken place. The question is whether this has any spiritual significance. Interestingly the theory of evolution fits perfectly into the divine plan where the only thing permanent is change. It is change that makes for improvement in the world. If God did not allow for change, there would be neither birth nor death nor growth.
So evolution is about change and improvement. Many things that we do mimic the divine plan. For example, the R&D department of an organization is following the law of free will, which God has allowed in order that constant change (out of which some improvement may hopefully emerge) occurs.

The scientific theory of evolution through natural selection is what it is reguardless of any vote. If you want to know more about it I would suggest first learning what a scientific theory is. Regardless of what many believe Science is not out to "GET" religion. Science is a method used universaly around the globe by people of all customes and ethnicity. example - Math. Yes math is science. With a little research into what science is and why scientists do what they do , you may come to understand that because science always sets out from the start to prove itself wrong that it is always as honest as posable. Yes there are some scientists who do not practice "good" science. But so far after intense scrutiny by both scientists and non-scientists alike, evolution though natural selection is in near certainty accurate.
If your asking is evolution real , Yes absolutly. Things evolve. Its observable, testable, and repeatable. For example - This website.

It is most definately real.
You vote? you make it sound like it's some sort of betting game, or election or something.
But then, I guess everyone is intitled to their own opinions and the right to believe what they want to believe.
That being said then; I strongly believe evolution is real.

Evolution is a theory. The vast majority of scientists accept it. There is physical evidence of it.
By contrast what is the evidence that the world started 6,000 years ago on the 26th October, a Wednesday?

You may propose that it's bull when you have an alternate theory that explains all currently known observations and test your new theory emperically.
Key hint -- pointing to a holy book and saying, 'god did it' is an untennable position because it cannot be put to the test.
Remember, a theory is the highest scientific standard. The term 'law' is no longer in common usage except for historical reasons (for example, Newton's gravitational laws proved to have errors... not much of a set of 'laws' were they?). Science cannot prove what is true, it only disproves what is false.

The is an overwhelming body of evidence to support it and new information is being added on a daily basis. The only reason to doubt that evolution or a similar thing occurs is if you have strong religious beliefs that are threatened by it or you are sadly uninformed.

First off, of course its real. Secondly, I'm slightly scared of the jesus freak above. Brainwashed people frighten me. My mom used to be the same as you. She didn't even know that dinosaurs actually existed. She was born and raised in Kentucky. When she finally moved out the that state (and into the real world) she discovered that she was brainwashed by christian freaks. (Not that there's anything wrong with kentucky. She just lived in an ignorant part).
