No, it's just that the existing society then, like most ancient cultures, was patriarchal. Mary Magdalen who was a significant religious figure, was made out to be a prostitute by the early church. That was pure chauvinism. The Bible makes it crystal clear that our problems will not be over until God becomes ruler of this world after the Day of judgement. Satan and our own foolishness are the architects of what we suffer now. Yes, death does claim us all. Quote from The Bible; 'The dead know nothing at all'. Our hope is salvation on the day of judgement.

Yes. Bible was written by male dominated societies. These people thought lighting was directly caused by God. Yet we accept there understanding of God. If god was real he wouldn't look like anything.

You can look at it from two standpoints, but from the non-religious side, males were dominant even before the bible. The Bible only justifies their dominance, like the tale of Noah and Ham and the Isrealite dominion over the Caananites. (Ham caught Noah drunk and naked in his tent, told his brothers, who then put a blanket over him, and for some reason, Noah knew and cursed Ham and his descendants, the Caananites.)
