Hi Gary,
I'm sure Josephine de Beauharnais Bonaparte must have had several portraits done for her, being the First-Lady of France once she married Napoleon. A very well known one is this one:
"Empress Josephine at Malmaison" (one of their official residences) by Baron (that's his nobility title) Francois Gerard

This oil painting was done in 1799, three years after Napoleon married Josephine. Josephine had two children by her previous marriage, but Napoleon later divorced her because she couldn't produce an heir. [quoted from the first site].
