I didn't show nearly as quickly with #1 as I did with the others. It just really depends on how much room you have in your abdomen and how big the baby is. Some women only have room to go out - while others of us have more room or more flexible insides :) Also, with a first pregnancy, your muscles are in good shape and all. After this baby - the muscles will have been stretched out before...so they will stretch much sooner and you show much sooner.
Don't worry - you will get that baby bump.

All pregnancies are different. With my daughter, at 7 months, I had only gained 1 pound. With my son, I started showing at 3 months, with this baby, I'm 21 weeks and I have lost 1 pound so far and my tummy just barely popped out 2 weeks ago.

Right now, i'm 23 weeks. I just recently started showing. I would ask other moms and my Doc if this was normal. They all told me don't rush it because i would gain alot more of the next couple of months. If you had an uncomplicated pregnancy, then you're fine. Just think of it this way, You will have a healthy baby and bounce back quicker after its born. Be patient, it will come, and so will the back pains. CONGRATS!!!

I hardly showed until I was 6 1/2 month along. And even then it was just a tiny bump. It was around 8 month that I started looking like I had swallowed a basketball. Its very normal not to show until late.. specially with your first child

Your uterus might be tilted and therefore you are carrying your baby more on the inside and not sticking out so far. You will show in the end, trust me! In the meantime enjoy not being huge. I could barely drive my car and couldn't put on my own shoes at the end of my pregnancy.

I always felt like I didn't get as big as other pregnant women too.
As long as the doctor says the baby is growing fine, there's nothing to worry about.
Give it time and you'll be too big for your maternity clothes!!

As long as the baby is fine be happy about not looking huge. I would be thrilled if I were you to still look skinny. I was huge with my twins and it causes back problems and joint pain so you are lucky!
