I have a 2004 Rubicon and have a lighted sign that fits into the trailer hitch. I've never set up anything to tow and can't find the wires to attach it to. Anybody know where to find the trailer wires or have any suggestions?

Thanks

don't do anything till you go to the U-Haul rental store, they can fix you up , i dicked around 1 day with a trailer hitch, i was told to go to u-haul, and he was right on the money. you will be amassed, all just plug in's. no splices or butchery , check it out, no luck to it .

there should be a four wire plug if you have a hitch. If you don't have a hitch or there are no wires you can go to a parts store and get the T connector to splice in the wires. Get the model specific kind and it's about 15 minute installation and the directions are very straight forward.

There should be a plug in somewhere near the trailor hitch, or try checking the towing package itself. If there is none, you might want to have one installed professionally. It shouldn't cost that much, but if you don't know what you are doing and you splice a wire, you could be looking at more money to rewire your jeep.
