I assume you mean to "upgrade" to Vista, but that would actually be a downgrade, because Vista is fraught with driver and compatability problems that will probably take at least two years to fix. Upgrade, instead to Kubuntu at www.kubuntu.org
With Kubuntu, you will enjoy a more reliable, more stable, virtually virus free operating system.
OH, yes, its free, too, and Vista will cost you AT LEAST $200 PLUS they will want more money for MSOFFICE, also, which is free with Kubuntu, at www.openoffice.org.

Why do you need to? If you think about what you use it for, you will realize there is no need to. I see on here alot of people want to upgrade because there is a new OS out there. That is no reason. Just my 2 cents.

Yes. Windows Vista just came out recently (see the link below). If you don't want to upgrade to Vista, then you can upgrade to Windows XP Professional Edition.

buy the vista CD and just setup it from windows and follow the simple instructions
