Iraq was alone. Simply because they attacked Kuwait, that's why the whole world was against them.

Israel was not our enemy but a big liability. Saddam was launching scuds and was attempting to provoke Israel to join the war. If Israel attacked Iraq it would have been seen as a zionist action to destroy a muslim country which would have dismantled our coalition because many of the allies we had were arabic whom still harbored anti-Israel sentiment.
Iraq had received Russian support in the form of migs and weapons but officially Iraq was on its own in the war which lead to a major disaster. So pretty much the Iraqi army was our primary foe, you could go into units of the Iraqi army such as the Republican Guard which was an elite force within the Iraqi army. They were the few troops that actually had confronted us in the ground war.

No other country was officially on Iraq's side. Remember that during that first conflict we had Eqypt, Saudi Arabia, and other arab countries on our side with their troops. No one liked Saddam invading Kuwait, but some just sat it out.

It was literally the Iraqis against the world in that one. Saddam had NO ONE on his side, not even the Jordanians or the Iranians.

Saddam was covertly supported by Iran, Saddam hid his 'airforce' in Iran..Russia was supplying food and ammunition as well as vehicles!..China was supplying sam6's and longmarch scuds as well as frog surface to surface missiles!..Mind you, so were the stupid French!..They were selling him artillery and shells while being engaged against Saddam in Kuwait!..Saddam was also militarily supported by North Korea, who supplied him with land based anti-ship missiles and old Soviet scud missiles!..Most of which malfunctioned and hit the Negev desert!..There were many more 'privateers' international arms dealers, most based in Athens and London, who also supplied him with millions of rounds of 7.62 short for his small arms!..I may have missed a few..but those are the main ones !..

that is all there was just Saddam. The Russians tried to do some diplomatic cover for them in the UN but that was all the help they got.

Isreal was involved defensively as Iraq fired rockets into their country, presumably in an effort to discourage our assault. There was concern about the rockets being armed with chemical weapons, though it's been a while and I don't recall if that was confirmed.

Well you would probably have to say we were our biggest enemy in that one. Most of the weapons saddam had we gave to him to fight Iran years before.......Saddam had small pockets of i guess you would call it insurgent support from the surrounding countries but mostly he was on his own
