Jesus said that before some saw death, they would see Jesus in His Kingdom. This bright glory when He talked with Elijah & Moses was Jesus in His Glory.
We don't know for sure Moses died. In the NT it is written that satan argued against Moses to God, and the angel said to satan, "The LORD rebuke you.". Satan is the accuser, but Moses did obey God & there were lamb sacrifices in the Old Covenant. Moses was human and made a couple big mistakes. But I believe the Lamb sacrifices covered them.

Moses and Elijah represent ,The Law and the Prophets.Moses died but God buried him ,Himself. These two will be the two witnesses in Revelation 11.In Jude,he speaks of a time when Satan tried to steal the body of Moses and Michael stopped him. Why? because he knew God is going to re-animate Moses for the last days. Then he will die(as did Lazurus) again and then be resurrected with Elijah.

Actually neither Elijah or Moses died. They were both taken to heaven and they appeared during the transfiguration to restore the keys of authority that they held to Peter, James and John.
3. Deuteronomy 34:6 [Deut. 34:6]—What happened to Moses at the time of his death? The text of the King James Version says: “And he buried him in a valley in the land of Moab, over against Bethpeor: but no man knoweth of his sepulchre unto this day.” Other prophets say Moses was translated. Josephus also lends credence to this explanation, by saying, “As he was going to embrace Eleazar and Joshua, and was still discoursing with them, a cloud stood over him on the sudden, and he disappeared in a certain valley, although he wrote in the holy books that he died, which was done out of fear, lest they should venture to say that, because of his extraordinary virtue, he went to God.” 7

Enoch is one of the mennorah in revelations. Moses was the greatest of the prophets for He was attested as GOD's friend and represented the jews whom Christ was come for first.
Elijah represented the gentile and was the one whom was testified where "The Elijah would come" hence the start of Christ's ministry or crossover from Son of GOD to GOD the SON.
Elijah was an example of the rapture body and soul. Moses was the example of natural death and spirit being alive.
Enoch was the example of the rapture preceding the advent of Christ.

The transfiguration showed three important facts.Jesus is not human,He revealed Himself in His Godly form,Elijah never died and was there, proof of the power od God,Moses murdered and even did what God told Him not to do,Yet by Gods grace Moses was forgiven and He lives.Moses died, God took him and showed him the promised land and said now it is time you die and God Himself buried Moses in a secret place in Moab.

there is some conjecture that Moses was taken up as well. The event is important in many ways: Necessary priesthood authority was conferred upon Peter, James, and John; the significance of the Savior’s work was emphasized; and the unity of various dispensations and the close relationship of Jesus and his prophets was demonstrated.

Actually, according to The Book of Mormon,[1] Moses never did die, but was translated.
Sorry this isn't from the Bible, but I hope this works.
