I have done both. Waited on a guy, asked a guy out or flat out gone out by myself. It all depends on what you are most comfortable with doing.

i firmly believe that only when someone truly wants something, then and only then will they take any action. ask away. the answer is not important. only that u asked, rather than not ask. rejection sucks. remember people will do more to avoid pain than to gain pleasure
