As a army vet. (i got out in sep 06) I was wearing the ACUs. as of October of last year the BDUs are no longer in use. ACUs are digital printing unlike the BDUs that are like a hunting patern. ACUs are Very nice I liked them a lot more than the BDUs. The ACUs have more pockets and have veco nameplates and rank and your unit crest. And in the army u dont have to iron them like the BDUs.
