My own Bible just mentions them once saything they were angels that saw some woman and bred with them. Nothing else so I thought I'd ask what does your different Bible,Koran variations say.
I don't know if the Koran says anything about them but just to be polite I thought I'd ask. If u happen to be a Wiccan what does your books say if they say anything about them?
Thanks everyone.

That's all it says about them in scripture. The Jewish historian Josephus states that these Nephilim were what the Greeks called their Gods.

The Nephilim of Noah's day were angels that forsook their original place in heaven when they noticed the daughters of men, that they were good looking, and they went taking them for wives, namely, all whom they chose. These angels left heaven to go to the earth where they materialized human bodies for themselves and started taking the daughters of men as wives, the offspring that were born of these un-natural marriages were men who grew to un-usual size, they were considered giants. There were also fierce men causing much violence in the earth. This is why God flooded that world, because of the violence, when the earth was flooded the angels that were there with materialized bodies, threw off those bodies and returned to heaven, the nephilim that were born of the un-natural marriages died with all the wicked in the flood. These nephilim are called the mighty ones of old, the men of fame. These were ones talked about in different mythology such as Hercules were his father was a god but his mother was human, you can see where these stories originated. Genesis 6:1,2,4-8 Jude 6 Personal opinions get people into trouble concerning God's word, compare Genesis 6:2 with Job 2:1 and then read Jude 6.

The angels in the Quran are pure creatures, who do not fall.

They do not have free will.

They do not have genders.

They are made of light and travel faster than light.

They are Gods servants and carry out His orders as God wishes.

Consequently the story of angels breading with humans is just not accepted in Islam.

- the word Nephiles never shows up.

- I think the verses you're referring to in the KJV version (which I read) doesn't use the word "angels" it uses the words "the sons of God" which in my personal opinion (opinion being the operative word here) was talking about just human men.
