I am currently lifting on monday/wednesday/friday for about 1 hour and running for 20 minutes afterwards on monday and wednesday. I am running for about 40-45 minutes on tuesday/thursday. Monday is chest/back, wednesday is triceps/biceps, and friday is legs/shoulders. I lift a moderate amount; 3 sets of 12 reps for the most part. I am generally exhausted by my last set and sometimes can't make it to 12 on the last set. I consume a lot of protein...usually two to three shakes a day. And I have been eating alot more as well. I am looking to gain weight and get more fit. Am I on the right track?

well it sounds fine for the most part but if you are trying to build muscles and get bigger that way you need to cut down some of the activity for example instead of 12 reps try 4-6 with heavier weights the more intense the work out the stonger you will get and the more you need to rest also cut the jogging to 1-3 times a week for 30 mins instead of 45. last your muscles need time to recover so they can build back stronger by doing chest on mons. and bi's and tri's on weds. your not giving your muscles time enough to rest because while you are doing bench presses your tour triceps and biceps are being worked as well as your chest other then that you are on the right track hope this helps
