Hi, I was wondering if it's illegal to open up a yahoo! group upon a teacher who ignore it, he doesn't know it!...This teacher is so funny, he's always angry and bored of all and he treat us so bad that we can only laugh at all his offenses, he's so rude =) . . .So my class and me wanted to create this blog or group about him...with pics, videos etc...Is it illegal?

If you lie about what he does and are slanderous....then you may have a problem.

It's potentially illegal. See information on defamation, slander, and libel.

Is this your English teacher? If so, I'd pay more attention to him and less attention to playing around. I know there are bad teachers out there, I had a few in my day, but you're standing on shaky ground if you can't even construct grammatical sentences. How are you doing in the rest of your classes?

Legally you can not publish pictures or put pictures on the web without the person's permission. Hem ight not be able to sue you because you are minors but he can go after your parents.

he would have grounds to sue if he wanted.. and considering his demenor.. he might.. i wouldnt do it.. his lawyer and himself could cook up a reason to sue so be safe and just dont do it.. maybe start a group on facebook or myspace.. leave pictures of him and things of that sort off.. but the reference of him would be fine i think
