You might qualify for IRS's Freefile. Check www.IRS.gov. If you meet certain guidelines, you can e-file for free.

If youre 17 you should just be able to do the simple tele file or the short form on th IRS web site. Didn't you get a book from them?

the first time i did my taxes H&R Block did them for free, for first timers, i don't know if they still do that or not
if not turbotax is easy and the chaepest, i've heard if you havent made too much (under 30,000) you can do it on thier website for free. otherwise for a 17 year old you could probably use the $20 version

First you ask your parents or accountant to file your taxes for you. then you send it to the IRS
