Okay, I have two problems:
1.) I take One a Day Women's everyday, but since I started taking them, I immediately feel nauseous when I take one and for the entire day my urine is a bright green color (sorry for the TMI). Is this normal?
2.) I know this isn't normal, I was just wondering if anyone had any idea of what could be wrong.. Lately I'll be getting ready for class in the morning and my heart will start racing/palpitating, I'll feel light-headed, I get a warmth behind head, and my vision starts to cloud over. After I lay down on my side for a little while, it goes away and I can go on with the rest of my day, but I still get minor chest pains here and there. What do you think? I'd really appreciate any help. Thanks!

It's normal for your urine to become bright green when you take vitamins - it's your body's way of getting rid of what you don't need. Some people also get nauseous when they take vitamins because of the extra iron in it. Try a vitamin without the iron and see if that helps.

2) Did this start when you started the vitamin? If so, check with your doctor. You could also be having panic attacks. In any case, i woudl schedule an appt. with your primary care physician to find out what's wrong.

Good luck!

As for the urine being an off color, mine is usually a bright yellow when I take a vitamin b/c your body is disposing of what it doesn't need. With the heart racing I would stop taking the vitamins until you can talk to your doctor. You don't want to mess around with anything that's going to make you light-headed or make your heart race.

1) Some foods and meds can cause the color of urine to change. It could be the artificial coloring added to the vitimins. Try eating something or drinking a glass of milk to stop the nausea.

2) I would seek medical help. Could be anxiety attacks... High Blood pressure... And a whole list of other scary problems I will refrain from listing as not to cause anxiety or worry.

Call your doc and let a professional evalute your questions and concerns.

1. Do you take your vitamins with food? If not, try that. Having something else in your stomach with the vitamin may prevent nausea. If you are taking it with food and still it's hurting your stomach, you may want to try a different brand.

2. You should talk to the doctor about feeling faint. It sounds like a panic attack to me, but you really need to get checked out by a doctor.

having green pee from a multivitamin does not sound normal. maybe try switching brands.

i know that when i'm dehydrated, i get very light headed and i can't see for like 5 seconds (due to lower blood pressure from minor dehydration). try drinking more water throughout the day.

if either of your symptoms don't improve or change, then you should probably see/talk to a doctor about them.
