Got chatting to a girl who I thought might go on a date. She knew I had been in jail recently but said that was sort of OK but the fact that I smoked (cigarettes) would be a No No. Thought it was a bit strange.

funny you should say that, as i had already thought "smoking", it's down to the fact that it really does stink! sorry but that's the truth!.. You never know though, there could still be a chance if you make her fall for you enough, she might think " oh well who cares if he smokes" but then again it might go the other way and you might think she is worth giving the fags up for!!!!!

Give up smoking and ask her again.. either she's using the smoking as an excuse to cover up having to tell you she doesn't want to date you or she actually doesn't want to date someone that smokes, which is totally understandable if she is a non-smoker. If she still won't date you at least you quit smoking, are healthier, richer and will live longer... so its a win-win situation for you!

might sound funny but its the voice and accents
so important and even thou i might like him or find him attractive as soon as i hear a peeppiiee voice or strange ( for my likes ) accent its over
