I can only imagine that it sucks for your mom and step dad to have another kid, but trust me when you are older you will love having a big family. My father was married twice and all together they're 7 kids. My father passed away in `98 and its nice to kling to one another for support. My oldest brother is struggling with cancer and I am pretty sure that he isn't going to make it. Its times like this you appreciate your family members.

So now let's look in the now... I think you might be over reacting to the news of your mom's pregnancy. I am sure your mom and step dad are thrilled about the news. Try to find the good in it. Just think you could use the baby to help you pck up chicks! ;) LOL Before jumping the gun, see how it goes and if you still feeling this way...going an after school activity, or hang out a friends house. You said you have a big family, can't you and your older sibblings hang out?

I really hope for the best for you and your expanding family.

If you are under the age of 18, good luck. You can run away but that will get you and your parents in trouble and cause a lot of unneeded pain. Being on your own isn't too hard but is sure isn't easy. How about you grow up and accept that your mom and new dad are having another child. I'm sure it isn't easy for you, but what is so bad about it? This is your parents decision, not yours. I mean, you won't be the one up in the wee hours of the moring, or the one with the soel responsibility of a little life. Don't do anything stupid. The only thing you can really do is sit down and talk to them but if they are already pregnant then your chances are very slim on them changing their minds for you and your sister. Abortion in a family is usuallu out of the question.

In the first place, you never stated your age. If you are a minor, you are stuck. Just make the best of it.
If you are a legal adult, you answered your own question.......get out of the house and stay away!
How you choose to do that is another question. The answer depends on your financial situation. If you have a job, you're half way there. Maybe your sister could go half with you on a small appartment. Just start checking out housing prices,etc... in the area you want to live in, and start saving your money.
GOOD LUCK!!

My question for you is - why are you not excited? Is it because you think your parents are too old? Do you think your responibilites are going to increase? Is money tight and you are afraid there isn't enough to go around? Are you concerned for your mother's health? All valid questions to be discussed with the family.
But if the issues are: I won't have any free time, the baby is taking away from me, I won't be able to do things with my friends, etc, etc....get over it - a baby is a miracle and should be cherished.
