You tell him anyways:)

You will feel better once it's out in the open. He may share your feelings, he may not. You may never know until you tell him!

Not to scare you away from it, but I found myself having feelings toward a good friend, and I know that he had feelings for me previously. I told him, and was surprised at how he changed. I got to see a new side of him that I didn't like at all. I am glad that I told him and learned this side of him instead of continuing to have those feelings blindly.

Plus...I found someone ten times better!

Wow I'm going through the same thing right now.
I have a really close female friend; she calls me her "best friend". We have everything in common: favorite music, favorite views, favorite food, favorite jokes, favorite everything. It's like Will & Grace except I'm not gay. Anyway, I have a girlfriend whom I love and she has a boyfriend who she claims, "doesn't understand me".
Anyway, things are really fun when we hang out but these days I notice she acts differently. I can totally tell she's falling for me. At first, I wished she would say nothing or do nothing about it because I didn't want things to get weird.
But you know, now I kinda wish she would say something. There's no way I'm leaving my gf for her, but so far our friendship has been about honesty, so why hide anything now? If she does tell me anything, I know that my response might upset her but we'll get over it. Why always do.
If I didn't have a gf and she was single, yeah I'd go for her. Why not? But as for now, it's not worth betraying everything my gf and I have built up the last 2 years.
I dont know if you are as close with your friend, but I hope this helps. Good luck!

Is it worth risking changing the friendship? If you like him and you want to explore a relationship beyond platonics, then tell him so. Or just starting flirting. he'll get the hint. If he's interested he'll notice and start to flirt back, or he'll act weird around you. The best thing you can do is tell him. We only live once, maybe he harbors the same feelings. Maybe not. No way to know unless you try!

He's your friend, right? Then be open. if you're that scared, text him and tell him how you feel, tell him you dont really expect him to do anything but that you just had to get it off your chest

First of all friendship is a good thing so think of the consequences of getting wit your friend. Like if you break up or something will things be the same again?

secondly if you tell him
How do you think he will react?

WHY ARE YOU SCARED TO TELL HIM? LIFE IS TOO SHORT TO BE SCARED. HE IS ONLY A GUY. TELL HIM. BESIDES, HE MIGHT FEEL THE SAME WAY ABOUT YOU.
