God is at work all the time. He never stops working. If He did, this universe would cease to function. That day will come, but as long as you wake up every morning and the sun is out and you see the moon at night and the earth is still here, you know that God is what keeps it all working perfectly.

If you consider every pre-supposed characteristic of God as true, God is most likely creating an infinite amount of realities, universes and entities as we write. A being that powerful and wise would be unable to remain inactive.
You must consider as well that God is believed to be out of time, so this reality must be a completed work already (for God, there is no difference between thinking something and creating something.)
Finally, your vision about God fighting against evil in a day to day basis is very mythological. Going straight with the concept and idea of the Devil, he is a very small creature in comparison to God. Let say that meanwhile Satan is giving the extra effort to rule a cookie (the universe,) God is busy baking and decorating millions of chocolate cakes at the same time. God is aware of the Devil, He knows what to do with the red guy, He knows that the way the Big Plan suppose to go, He knows when to do his dramatic entrance at the end, so He is cool.

Wow, that God guy sure is a busy fella, huh? You'd think a guy with all the power of the universe wouldn't be having so many day-to-day struggles with the "powers of darkness" but could simply destroy them right on the spot. Why doesn't he do that? Seems to me he's making extra work for himself doing it the hard way. You make it sound like he's struggling desperately to keep up and is just barely managing it! Poor guy, must be getting feeble in his old age.

No I do not think God is sitting up there doing nothing. The shape the world is in I would say he has his hands full!!! I know a lot of people are praying for their families, friends, the government, this world, our soldiers, etc... and he hears and answers every prayer. So yes I would say God is not just sitting there! My opinion!!!

Im not sure if I even believe in God, as there has never been proof of his existence, and if there is a god then how did he get there? How was he created?
Also, if there is a god, why do so many bad things happen in the world, such as death, murder, rape, etc.
And why are there so many bad people on the world, rapists, murderers, peodiphiles, etc.

If it makes you feel any better, I don’t believe our creator is sitting anywhere doing nothing. This is mainly because I don’t believe he exists. Lol

If it was omnipotent why would it need to struggle. It doesn't exist.
