Ok so heres the plan! I don't have much money, and I didn't plan ahead very well, so here's my plan for valentines day...

I get home before him, so im going to stop him at the front door, tell him to go change into something nice and not let him in the kitchen. I'll have everything ready in the kitchen (probably steak and salad and noodles or something) with candles and all that. Then when I let him in the kitchen I'll have changed into some sexy little negligee or something, and serve him dinner. I also will write him a letter/poem of how much i love him etc, and get a nice card and some flowers. And let the night take its course! ;-) hha, ohhh and maybe some chocolate/fruit fondu?

would you guys enjoy that? Or girls, do you think thats a good idea? I would love to be able to spend money on something nice, but we just don't have the funds (saving for a house)

Thanks! Everyone have a happy Valentines day!

that sounds wonderful! I think he may like it very much. I know if someone went to all that trouble for i would love them all the more. You seem to be a very thoughtful person, and you have given me some great idea's too. THANKS A BUNCH!!!!

Good idea...unless he can take you out instead. Just be sure he makes an effort too. Valentines day is traditionally the day that a guy shows his affection. So if he arrives home without flowers or candy....might want to rethink the matter. Happy valentines day to you!

I think that is an excellent idea and if i was the guy i wud think that was better than actually buying sumthing that wud probably get thrown away when it's served it's purpose and i'd apreciate the fact that u slaved away over the stove or microwave and still had time to give me a special evening.

That sounds like a very romantic night. This is a great idea. Make sure to do your make up all sexy and hair too. I hope you and your man have fun.
All I want is a nice dinner, clean house, a back rub and ya know.

I think that is a great idea. Very personal and heart felt,I like your idea much better that buying him some store-bought gift that thousands of other men will end up with. He will remember this valentines day for the rest of his life. Have fun, and happy valentines day!

It's the thought that counts you do'nt have to have lots of money to enjoy valentines day its the little things that means so much your idea sound ok but not original; but it can work seeing that you put so much thought into it good luck

Come to my house instead. : )

Perfect except forget the card, poem, flowers and chocolate (unless it is melted over your naked body).

The meal and the lingerie (with the night taking its course) are more than enough.

I think that's a brilliant idea. Not some impersonal gift that will gather dust over time. Go for it!
