Doesn't it seem like brainwashing to a nice beat.

The Family Worship Medley Lyrics

Sweet Holy Spirit
You're welcomed here
You're welcomed here
Oh sweet Holy Spirit
Just fall down and have Your way

Hallelujah, thank you Jesus
We worship Your Holy name (2x's)
We adore You. We kneel down before You
We worship Your Holy name

We worship Your name
Worship Your name
We worship Your Holy name

Kirk Franklin

What else would gospel music have to say? Anyway, I think we should make up a nice Aethist theme song, something a little like this:

Fake Holy Spirt
We don't believe in you
So Christians, quit trying to
Get us to change our smart minds
Just f-off and leave us alone!

Halleluja, just f-off!
We don't wanna worship your phoney god
We don't wanna adore your fake being
We don't wanna kneel down for anything
We just want you to f-off!

We don't worship your god
We don't worship his name
We don't worship his fake name!
F-OFF!

Every day, at a certain point on the freeway, my Sirius cuts to a christian radio station (I hate that by the way). I have heard some really disturbing stuff on there. The songs, the preaching, the telling people to vote republican solely for religious reasons. Scary.

I am an atheist. I disagree with you. I don't get nauseated when I listen to others singing gospel. It is not like they are spreading hate. They sing and have faith because that is what works for them. All the power to them!

I don't listen to gospel music because it's boring and repetative.

I do, however, listen sometimes to Christian rock. Skillet is actually a good band.

It makes you nauseated because you do not accept Holy Spirit to guide you. I let Holy Spirit in my heart and I have a new understanding. I fall short from the glory of God but I can recognize that He is God and He is good.

No, not necessarily.

I like some christian music, bluegrass, rock... I don't feel brainwashed at all.

I'm just an atheist happy to sing along to 'I'm using my bible for a roadmap...'

The way that people close their eyes, life their hands, and sway to the music freaks me out. It is like a cult or somehting.

Gospel is ok, I like the energy of it. It's "Christian rock" that makes my eye twitch...
