Hi XXL,

Well, it looks to me like I am a little out there on this one too I guess at least from looking at my Christian counterparts answers.

What does it mean to be sinless or with out sin? Well first off I do not believe that I am accountable for the sin of those you went before me.

A basic tenent of my faith:

We believe that a man will be punished for his own sins and not for Adams transgression.

So I do not subscribe to the concept of inharent sin, and no the word of God does not teach that we do. I know that some Christians believe that it does but they are either misinformed or not well learned. It simply does not. It does teach that as a result of the transgresion of our first parents, we are born mortal, subject to this mortal state and unto physical death but not that we inherit their sin.

I do, however, agree that Christ was the only human form on this planet whom was sinless in the sense that he did not commit sin.

For me, in my life, being sinless or having never commited sin, is not possible. Been their, done that, and still do occasionally although I am getting better.

Being without sin, is my goal. One can be without sin or release from the ownership or responsibility of sin when one goes through the repentance process which includes acknowledging, confessing (to God, the person against whom the offence was commited if applicable and to the appropriate priesthood authority if the sin was of a notably significant nature), makeing restitution if possible, forsaking the behavior meaning never to return to it and having a real change of heart that would distance one from the desire to commit the offence again.

When we repent of our sins, the sin is removed from our responsibility and we are without sin (for that particular offence). Through progress toward enlightenment, and repentance made possible through God's plan of happieness, we can become without sin.

It is a continual process. Not a happening.

Everyone sins...we all have a sinful nature. And we have inherant sin as well.

To be sinless would require a miracle. You would have to be born without inherant sin...and then never sin your whole life.

Never break a commandment and never go against the word of God - written or spoken.

because if you have read the bible, Adam and Eve sinned. if we are from Adam and Eve, we can not be perfect. you don't get perfection from an imperfect mold. if we were sinless or without sin we could live forever and not fear death. we are born sinners.

It would mean what it already means: We are all sinless.

Sin is an offense to a god. Since there are no gods, there is no way a god can be offended. As such, we can commit no sin.

Doesn't mean we're perfect or that we don't screw up, just that it isn't SIN.

If you have obeyed the gospel of Jesus, you can go to God in prayer, He will forgive your sins when you repent of them and the blood of Jesus continues to cleanse from sin, thus allowing you to be sinless before God.

It would mean that you are Jesus Christ. He is the only one without sin. The bible teaches that the sins of Adam and Eve are inherited by all of mankind.

There is no one in this world who is sinless, even if you are following your religion perfectly, people from other religions would consider you a sinner for not following their religion. In short, everyone is going to hell if you beleive in God.

You wouldn't die.
Sin brings death.
And you'd go to heaven.
Jesus was the only one without sin.
The 10 commandments show us what sin is.
