alright first off you've only been dating a day...there really is no need for a present....second,a PROMISE ring?!?! after 2 days of dating?? and you're only 15...NOT a good idea. You really need to slow this relationship down. Now I know all you can think about is how much you "love" him but from experience I'll tell you this....you don't love him,nor does he love you...you like each other, thats most likely the extent of this. To save yourself some hurt(and some money) dont bother with a present but if you absolutely feel you must get him one,get an innocent card.

Hun, i hate to say this, but you have been only dating him since the 13th and he is getting you a promise ring? does he even know the meaning behind that? A promise ring means that you promise to be with him forever until you get married, how can he possibly know that he wants to be with you forever if you JUST MET? Im sorry but i would say that since you JUST met and started dating the day before valentines day, the gift should be simple, but if he gives you a promise ring, i would recommend a CATSCAN. You are only 15, im sure you dont know that you want to be with this kid forever yet. Think it through sweetie.

Give up any thought that you have an OBLIGATION to give him anything. If a gift is based on obligation rather than on desire, it is not worth receiving.
.
Second, lose the idea of having one and only one "boyfriend" and focus on building a wider circle of friends, of both sexes. You will then become a more attractive person and not just an object for somebody's ego-stroking possessiveness. A secure and sane guy will enjoy you more when you are a person who is friendly and loving to more and more others, and isn't that the kind of guy you would like to attract?

If you've only been going out a few days you should just make a small gesture. what's the point in getting something extravagant at this stage. I think that a hand made card would be really special because you have to put more effort in to making one than just buying it.

You just started "seeing" this young man. Why do you feel obligated to get him anything? You don't need to spend money on him YET, buy him or make him a nice card, a small peck on the "cheek (of his face)" and a Happy Valentines Day is certainly sufficient. Do you know anything about each other yet? Take it slow, you are both very young.

Umm I don't think anything overly lovey dovey, but maybe something that you know he wants, then he'l know you pay attention to him..e.g. CD and then his fav chocs, not loads but something personal. Even if it's something small, if you know of something that he's always wanted but he could never find, try searching on the Internet, he'll be really touched that you spent the time to find something for him. Hope it helps and good luck :D
