Do you agree or disagree with this statement? Please explain why.

Cosmetic surgery is a fountain of youth with little risk to the patient.

I disagree, but that's just my opinion. So please give me some feedback! Thanks.

If there is obvious reasons for the plastic surgeries which causes distortion to the face e.g deviated nose , bat ears , cleft palate , i agree to it of course , but if it for worthless reasons as injecting the lips with collagen to look sexier, i disagree with no doubt
look at Antonio Banderas wife( i don't remember her name but she is an actress) and what she did to her face by her obsession with plastic surgeries AWFUL!
She was pretty more beautiful before the surgeries!
on contrary Sofia Louren refused the offer to reduce her nose size by a plastic surgery For Italy beauty contest and she still very sexy, youthful, and beautiful even up till now!

I am all for cosmetic surgery IF you are born with a SEVERE deformaty or in a major accident which results in a severe deformaty.

However, every surgery has its risks. It IS worth it IF you have a SEVERE DEFORMATY!!

Everyone needs to evaluate their medical conditions before making the decision to have cosmetic surgery. Also, there are LOTS of risks; IF you happen to see the wrong doctor!!

Make SURE you get ALL THE INFORMATION about the doctor you can get LONG BEFORE you decide to go have cosmetic surgery.

You CAN look a lot younger BUT if you get the wrong doctor; you can live the rest of your life IN A NIGHTMARE!!!

For MOST people cosmetic surgery is relatively safe. With new surgical techniques procedures that were once highly invasive and required extended recovery time. Today lasers and smaller incisions provide for less bleeding, smaller scars, and shorter recovery times.

As with any surgery, if you have curtain medical problems -- diabetes, heart problems -- the risk is higher.

I disagree.
While cosmetic surgery can change one's appearance, it CANNOT take away from one's actual age.
For example; a 50 yr-old woman can have the bodily appearance of a 30 yr-old, but she's still a 50 yr-old woman...and not one minute less!
Going further, cosmetic surgery is just that; surgery!
So, when one is being cut, sliced, pulled, plucked, sucked, and reduced (for whatever the reason), there are always many associated risks!

There are risks involved. You do it only if the rewards are higher than the risks, such as in show business. If you are an normal average person, your life could be ruined if you get into plastic surgery.

The sentence stated makes it sound as if it was enjoyable, but in fact cosmetic operations are quite a shock for your organism. I know a saying which says, one needs to suffer for beauty sometimes.

relies upon. some human beings do it because wearing glasses is inconvenient. Others may do it out of conceitedness, because glasses do not in structure them. hence, yeah, i'd say it became beauty surgical operation. that's purely beauty if the only objective is to make you seem extra effective.
