Broke down the other night, when contacted my current provider I was told it didn't matter that it was dark and I was on my own!

they ALL do - complain bitterly. Sounds like you got Mr MiserableNuts who doesnt like working nights.

Seriously - complain as your call would be logged - tell them you are VERY disappointed with the poor service you received.

These guys cost a load of dough - without customers theyre nothing

Certainly Green Flag do, and I understand both the AA and the RAC do as well. Although technically discriminatory, I suppose, they all claim to treat a woman on her own or with children as a priority, especially if you lay on the "It's dark and I'm afraid" a bit thickly.

I'd have words with their customer services people if I were you.

Not sure about providers. But never sit alone in your car like that.

If you can, always get away from the vehicle and conceal yourself if possible from passing cars. You do not want strangers to see that you are stranded and helpless.

I would walk 10 miles before I accepted help from any stranger on the road.

Remember car windows are glass and you are not safe in a broken down car! Grab your coat and sit behind a bush if necessary.

that would be sexist, and discriminatory. No, you will not find any provider that admits to giving women priority.

However, if you've got the gift of gab and pour on the personality on the phone you will always find that women can get away with some things that some of us men can NOT.

It's a perk to having breasts...

Hmm...I'm with RAC and have had no problems getting V.I.P treatment. Try using a sexy voice on the phone, and whimpering. lol. Crying tends to work well too.

Why do you women all think your special? Maybe you should learn how to fix things that go wrong with your car. I so sick and tired of seeing woman waiting for some stupid male to fix their flat for them. You women all think your better than men .Fix it yourself.
