I quit, after smoking it everyday for 20 years. I was on probation and so I had too, but I was just tired of it by then anyway. That was almost 10 years ago. Sometimes I miss those days but it's not like on my mind all the time.

28 years, quit looking for excuses, either you want to smoke or you don't. I quit for 2 years when my husband was on probation, I quit for a year for my fiancee as part of a deal that he didn't live up to, and right now I can take it or leave it, no stress. It is not addictive physically, it is all in your head. Oh, and just so you understand, I have always smoked daily, I'm not a part timer.

I have been smoking the cronic for over 20 years now. I don't plan to give it up either.
I have quit before but couldn't hang. I didn't sleep, I didn't have an appitite, and I was angry and bitter. My husband and kids agreed that I was a happier person on pot.
I have ulsers and some issues with anger and depression.
Some people use perscription drugs like anxiety pills and anti-depressants. I use pot. It works for me.
Good luck!
They say if you can quit for 30 days you can quit for life.

i wa sdiagnosed with bipolar 15 years ago. I smoked prior to that and the nut docs said weed wasnt good for the moods. I was placed on a buttload of meds. This made life kind of blah blah. 6 years ago i started smoking again and i feel like im doing fine. Alcohol still affects my mood tho so i try to stay away from it.

weed is not addictive. the bad thing is that it makes you a little lazy, don't quit if you don't want to and if it makes u happy or quit and see how you do without smoking. if not, GO BACK!
