Ok, just because your kid is out of control doesn't necessarily mean he has autism or ADHD or any other kind of disorder. More than likely, it means he is a typical 2-yr-old who's acting like a brat because his parents let him get away with it.

Wow if you have already lost control of 22 month old I can't wait to see what he is like at 12. Spank his butt! if you don't believe in spanking you need to take him away from the other kids by putting him in another room or something. I really hope that you are not one of those parents that just says "now honey you know we don't hit". Because that won't do a thing.

If you refuse to discipline your children, it proves you don't love them; if you love your children, you will be prompt to disciplin them.

Has he been tested for Autusm?Maybe he is just a "middle child" and having problems expressing his anger. Encourage him to use his words. This may need work and with a younger one it may seem like you don't have the energy, but it will be worth it.

I agree that you should have the pediatrician screen him for things such as autism. Just not listeneing is one thing - but if he is also refusing to eat and sleep - that often signifies that the problem is more complex than just parenting skills.
