Because your fat butt's jiggling BEHIND you. If it were in front of you, and you could see it jiggling, you might have second thoughts about that snack...

It's because of several reasons:
Snacks taste so good and are so tempting, virtually calling to us from the kitchen.
We often may think briefly about cutting out a snack, but then we quickly convince (delude?) ourselves that a little snack won't really hurt us--or convince ourselves that skipping the snack will have zero impact toward shedding any of the weight we wish we could lose.
You probably haven't yet made a serious decision and commitment about toning down your eating. But this is exactly what's required for you to have a fighting chance of slimming down that backside of yours. You need to (1) decide you really want to work on this, (2) make a reasonable plan about how you are going to go about it, (3) pick a starting date--and go for it!

A body in motion tends to stay in motion until it bumps into an obstacle. The obstacle in this case is a refrigerator or cabinet, and ... while you're there ... I mean who wants to waste a trip? Besides, all that jiggling burned a few calories, and made me hungry :<)

Because you don't have a mirror to walk past on your way to the kitchen. So you don't really see the fat on you until your fixing to shower or get dressed.

Because your brain is telling you to eat. If you're not hungry, it could be emotional eating that you're doing.
YOU need to make the decision: who's in charge here- me orthe food.
