Generally, both vitamins improve your immune system. They also help keep your skin healthy. Vitamin C protects your gums, which in turn protect your teeth.
I'm not sure what the effects of vitamin E overdose might be. Vitamin C, though, you can't really overdose on because it's water-soluble. Any extra is just sent out of your body, which in high concentrations can give you diarrhea.

Having suffered for many years with crippling pains you have my sympathy! I had numerous D&C's and tried contraceptive pills. Pain relief helped and relaxing hot baths. But I would seriously suggest you go get checked out for endometriosis where the lining of the uterus can grow outside of the uterus causing major pain. Eliminate any 'nasty' conditions first and then work on diet/alternative medicines and yoga/meditation/acupuncture. Try it all until you find the right thing for you. Mine went after I had a baby but returned after having the second one which is common.

I can't think of ant negative effects unless you have an allergy to either one, but positive your skin will be clearer(Vit E) and your immune system will get stronger(Vit C).
