I am a mother of four and I go to college part-time. I am obviously pressed for time between keeping up with the home, errands, kids, homework & then there is me fitting this get myself back in shape thing in. Ok I am trying to loose weight so I lowered my calories to 1200 with little or no fatty foods(eating healthier foods I can eat sufficently without being hungry) and I am doing two hours of stationary cycling to burn what I put in. I am not loosing any weight. I thought that it was because I was breaking even but after talking to a specialist I was told that my body has gone into starvation mode. I am a bit lost at this point. Do I exercise less? Do I eat more?...I want to loose 65 pounds by september...my whole family has a vacation planned at the beach, I am very self conscience & with all the other girls & guys for that matter having perfect bodies... I won't be able to enjoy myself. In other words I'll be sweating it fully clothed on the beach. Help!

May be your doctor can put you in touch with a nutritionist or a dietician to help you. And yes, you seem to have gone into starvation mode but the question is, if you continue with this present regime, will you or will you not lose weight in future? For how many months did you follow your present diet?

Another option for you is to go on Atkins, Southbeach or some such diet. Don't panic since you still have some time.

Summer : well you can continue with "Fitness" as long
that you'd must try ! by "Adjusting the Daily Task Schedule &
follow them simple "Diets/Menu Plans" because doing too much
would get tired yes so yourself would need some rest for 3-4 hrs
ok?

You need to eat more. Eat at regular intervals...3 meals and 3 snacks every day. Try other exercises and vary the routine as much as possible.

Talk to the doctor who said you were in stavation mode to find out whatis best for your body.
Uou should be losing on this plan. Something's not right.
