Since you present America as the strongest and most developed country in the world, then is stands to reason that America must have some form of intelligence to reach this status.

I find it absurd to judge a whole nation on a biased you-tube video clip. it seems you have taken an easy route to support your circular reasoning.

From factual data gathered on my own for the past 4 decades, I have come to the conclusion that ALL people are dumber than rocks -but in different ways.

For example: while you try to bridge a gap between a single skewed TV report with a whole nations level of development, I can only surmise that YOUR level of intelligence is 3rd grade sarcasm at best.

America is not the most developed country in the world, unless you mean by pure bulk. Japan is far ahead of america in terms of technology and environmental sustainability.

As for America being unintelligent, well, I think we have a load of intelligent folks, but unlike other cultures we don't respect intelligence. We respect stupidity, weird ideas of beauty, and pepsi. So even if there's millions of intellgient philosophers out there with great ideas or developers with innovative technology, no one will listen or care regardless. At leats not the mainstream public.

Didn't check the link but I know that the education system in America has indeed become a failure.

Just look at the way far too many people spell and write here on Y/A. How did they pass third grade?

Sorry, I don't click on unknown links, so I can't comment on the link.

However, I personally think that our education system and society at large is producing mediocrity as the norm. We need a complete overhaul of the education system - we are no longer in an age that requires the masses to work on an assembly line - we are in need of people who can rise above mediocrity and stretch themselves intellectually.

OMFG...that was soooo embarrassing. I can't believe those people at the end that would support Bush in ANYTHING that egomaniac would do. A very sad statement of the people of our country. But I guess that explains some of the answers given here on Y!A.

If i'm able to that type of undivided interest to totally concentration more often than not international for a minute, then , quite, the entire international has to consciously or unconsciously, awares or unawares, pay interest to me ! many non secular masters have verified this over centuries!

I have lived in other countries, although some are better educated, they are stunted in other ways, other people are very close minded yet easily swayed by sin-more so than us.

An American would be smart enough to put the question someplace besides religion and spirituality.
Was there no Anti-American thread?
