i am new to cigar smoking and im just facinated with the drew estate acid and natural cigars. im going through and trying to find one or two that fit what i like in a good smoke. i love the wrapper aroma of the acid cigar so that counts, i like a flavorful draw, but what i dont want is something that gives you that bad lingering taste in you mouth. you know, the kind that you still taste on you breath the next day. can anyone who smokes drew recommend a good couple of tasty sticks. so far ive had nasty, dirt, blondie, infusion tea. it was the infusion tea that left me with the bad linger that i dont want in a cigar. any help??

The Drew Estate Natural are ok, but I wouldn't smoke the Acid range as they are not serious cigars. They are toy cigars really. If you are in the US you will have access to an excellent range of cigars at a good price. Go for Dominican cigars as these will help you get started. If you are in the UK I recommend ordering yourself some Cuban Minis to see if you like the taste of them, this will help you discover what flavours and brands you like without spending too much money, also you could try Guantanamera a Cuban beginners cigar. Flavoured cigars are best avoided as they flavour them with loads of chemicals that give an unpleasant aftertaste, normal cigars wont do this. Normal high street cigarettes have this problem because of chemicals, however, proper cigars will not do this to much an extent.

I recommend ordering Corona or Robusto size cigars. Churchill are longer and harder to smoke well. Once you've messed about with mini cigars, you can order cheap Cubans like Quintero and JL Piedra. In the USA, Alec Bradley cigars are a good buy, handmade and cheap too.

Try these retailers in the US:
www.cigarsinternational.com
www.mrbundles.com

Try these retailers in the UK:
www.cigarworld.pt (Portugal)
www.mrbundles.com (USA)
www.gestocigars.ch (Switzerland)

I have used all of these and they are very reliable.

Good luck
