just because someone is a Christian does not mean that they arent patriotic themselves. Look @ the Chaplains in the military... look at the Chaplains assistants and the churches on military bases that are full every Sunday and Wednesday. I believe in God, however I do not believe the hypocrisy they teach in most Churches... I think as long as you live the best life you can and try to help others along the way that that should be good enough. I myself am a Veteran... I served active duty in the army and was discharged 2 years ago for injuries I received in Iraq. I am married to a soldier and he is headed back to Iraq this summer. Saying that Christians should leave America is very closed-minded of you and I really hope that your drill sergeants teach you tolerance of others...otherwise you are going to have a very hard time in the military. Because in the military you will fight along side Christians, Buddhists, Athiests, Agnostics, Pagans, Wiccans, Muslims, Jewish, etc.... BTW... if all Christians up and left the US... the Army would become very tiny. People are entitled to their own opinion... which is one of the things that makes this country so great... People dont have to believe what you believe and visa-versa

Well, this is a good question. The church is not a building. The Church is a community. We have Atheists going to our church, they want to learn what our community is offering and teaching. I care a bout the other people's destiny, but I respect the free will.
There is a lot of ways we can offer shelters for each other and what comes to morals, we all have morals written in our soul, it is just that without God's standards we are left with human opinions. : )

Probably just church. Sometimes even the church-run real homeless shelters end up being just church. I have more respect for churches that truly want to help people without first wanting to add to their congregations.

That would depend on your definition of morally homeless, what may be your definition might not be someone else's. We can only control our actions not other people's. I imagine that would be church, I have never gone to church, except once when I was 9 and that was for some holiday.

Well, church is like a shelter, except 10% costs more than a hotel to stay.

It seams a genuine call for reason to come to some Christians, is my intention personally, to answer your question as well that I'm looking forward to please your fancy?, don't interpreted this the wrong way please, though you have to recognize that such question you made is perfectly clear and direct to the point. I do consider my self as a person whit a lot of inside of what God wants from peoples, especially now that there is a window of opportunities we have been able to create just because it will appeared that we are getting more interesting in think a bit deeper to ask questions about HIM(God), always trying to get some and always more proximity to HIM, and his desires for all to become, and achieve, the best HIM, will which for us, to become. I say yes, because and although I'm physically Homeless, I know with all certainty that my Home is in HIM, as well that in my Body there is a Home I try to keep ready, open and clean for him to Inhabit if HIM, so which to do so. I think HIM(God), will expect the same from you, as we can continue wishing whit much hope HIM will expect the same from us. I do consider my self to be that shelter, I'm Catholic, and a christian, I hope with all my heart this will help you to increase your Faith, not in me my self but in HIM(God), his plans and for the glory of his desires and of his Son Jesus to become just like his Father. Remember we can achieved this by care of our self and lifting our selves to HIm, and offer HIM, our bodies as his temple, there is where Home is, in our hearts. << God bless you, in his name Amen.>>

They would expect it to just be church, but they'd be better off taking a class on ethics. They might actually learn something.

Church is a start, but as we've all seen that is no guarantee of morality.
