If you really want to know, you need to quit blowing him off and start a conversation with him. Until that, any "sign" you get will be a mixed message. You may need to initiate a conversation more than once; if he's really that shy, the first time might be awkward for both of you. Chances are he will be delighted to talk to you.

They will smile at you sometimes and sneak glances. They'll also try to talk to you,or even just walk by you whenever he can. Some guys will find out your classes and go by your classes in hope to get a glance at you or see you in the hall.
