i own a repair shop, and the parts will go up,more than they are now, because everything else is going up,but they wont cost no more than any other vehicle to repair,as for the gas mileage ,they do pretty good considering its a 4 wheel drive vehicle, but its not as heavy as other ones so this helps it to get better fuel economy, also it has all the latest and most advanced equipment on it to help it do better on fuel, but over all i think you,d like it,they drive good, and perform real well, you can go test drive one,the drive is free, and this will help you decide ,good luck i hope this help,s.

If you live in the US, the parts wont cost you any more than they will for any other American made vehicle. Not to mention that the compass shares parts with other vehicles, so parts (other than the body) arent unique to that vehicle. Also, DCX offers pretty good warranties on their vehicles. I drive a 2002 dodge, and i got a 7yr/100,000m drivetrain warranty, but ive not had to use it.

It's a Mercedes/Chrysler genetic engineering product a.k.a. mutant.
I suggest you think of a vehicle that does not need parts rather than how much they cost. Hint: it ain't jeep.
