1. I'm retired, I stopped work when I was 47, 10 years ago, I love my job.

I'm a secretary in a veterinary surgery. I'd say it's a 6 - love the animals, do my job well which gives me job satisfaction, but my boss gets on my nerves sometimes and the only other downside is that I have to work at all!

It was about an 8, I guess. Surveillance operator. We were short on personnel, so I had to work alone for several hours in the deepest part of each night.

It's way hard to watch a whole lot of monitors by yourself and not miss anything.

Now, I am retired, and I love this!

7 - Admin assistant. Some of the work is irritating and boring, but I work with a great bunch of people that make it all worthwhile. If you had asked the same question when I worked at my last job I would have said minus six million on every level.

im a barman

as for hating my job

i love my work but i hate the place i work in

i am soon going to be moving on to a new bar as a manager

i couldnt rate the job as a whole out of ten but i can rate each part

my boss 10

my work mates 8

my customers 1

the actual job if it wasnt for the rest of the staff 1

Id say a 7 - I work for an auction house, very interesting but hard work and the hours are long. I would rather be at home of course, but then it does pay the mortgage.

My paper route started at about a 2, now it's closer to a 9. Sooo repetitive, same thing every day... At least I make good money ($750-$950 per month, depending on the month).

well i am an english teacher. it really depends on my classes. sometimes i can have a hard-working lot of kids and it's really easy and i love it. then again, there are times that you get those nasty kids in your class and can't do much about it, apart from hating your job. over all i give it a 3!

7- Hotel desk clerk...I get to meet new people, play on the computer during downtime, and most of the people I work w/ are great. Also, I get a freakin' awesome discount when I travel and stay in sister hotels.
