Only a true idiot would call that controlling...geez...are there areally people out there like this?

Personal experience? Ouch.
First off, even if you're not a guy like this, there are many "idiots" in the world that are so "idiotic" that they couldn't possibly believe their partner is NOT cheating. So, unless a man has distinct proof that there really is something going on (and this applies to women as well), then they shouldn't throwing accusations.

If the guy is absolutely sure something is going on (more than just the classic working late), then I suppose the reaction is normal. Though it's still very rocky ground to be treading. Again, some people are complete "idiots" about this, so rather than getting into a big fighting match, a couple in such a situation should just deal with getting a shrink or split. Ultimately does a favor for both people.

In that situation i would say the girl is just trying to put the blame on someone else. Yes that is annoying.
