i'm 16 and i still feel that i shud wait. i was in the same situation u were in 2yrs ago and i waited and that was a good decision because when we're at that age it's hard to see a lot of things so u might not know that the only thing a guy wants from u is just what normal teens wud do they might want more and if u gave them u'd probably regret it for the rest of ur life and i don't think that wud be a very enjoyable life

The best advice I can give you is to hold off on a steady boyfriend and date around. Being in a committed relationship at your age is not that much of a necessity, so just play the field until you are a little older and then find someone you want to settle down with. By that time you would have been around enough guys to know what you really want in a boyfriend. However, if you really like this guy find a clever but straight forward way to tell him you like him, trust me any woman will tell you all guys like it when you are straight forward with them.

Your only 14 remember that. You should wait because if you give in and take on a boyfriend...who's to say that he won't convience you to go all the way. Once you do that he'll end up dumping you and rumors will start to fly around that you are easy and there goes your reputation. People will end up respecting you more if you hold your ground and show them that you are waiting for Mr. Right.

Sure, give it a shot. Just don't expect it to be what you see in the movies, because when you're in the 8th grade, a relationship pretty much consists of being seen with each other, and knowing that "he's your boyfriend," and not a lot more. Holding hands, a little kissing is probably all.

Yes ma'am!! You will thank me when you turn 23. I have 3 children, and i had a boyfriend when i was 14, not saying that everyone is the same, but come on! Who don't wanna experience what everyone has been bragging and boasting about.

In all honesty, I would wait for another year or two for a relationship. The first years in high school are always the rockiest. Plus, highschool will influence the things you do, and you shouldn't let it. So if I were you I would wait a little longer for a boyfriend.

Yes you should wait. Your only 14 and going to be going to a new school soon. You will meet new friends and want to hang out. A boyfriend can always come later.

You should start by being friends with this guy you like. Your 14, you really don't need a boyfriend. You need to be with your girlfriends! They are the ones that will be with you forever. You have plenty of years ahead of you for boy trouble!

What is your hurry? You have the rest of your life and right now it is your time to finish your education and grow up and experience all that a teenager should by having fun and not being tied down to one person. There is plenty of time once you grow up to be in one relationship but for now you should wait until you are a little older before you start dating. Have fun.
