Is there ever such a thing as being too shy to talk to someone that you really, really are into? Because if I meet a guy that's "too shy" to approach me, is it safe to assume that he's not into me, because if he was he could overcome the shyness?

I was a lot more shy when I was around 19-21. I still regret that I didn't ask this one girl out because I was too shy, we worked together and I had a huge crush on her. I ran into her a few years later and she told me she knew I was interested and was waiting for me to ask her out, and I never did.

Yes many times. This was a problem for me in school. Not sure why but it was. Most of the girls would tell my friends that I thought I was too good and stuck up for any of them, but it was just because I was very shy around girls.

Most certainly. Heck, I think I'm still afraid of women. I can still remember certain girls from high school that I was "really into" but not so much into asking out. If you start becoming friends with them, it almost makes matters worse....

Yah this is close to home...usually if you just go with the flow of things...she/he will get the idea they're into you...and you eventually get around to exposing those feelings...the question is whether or not you're willing to put the time in...

Every damned day. Assumptions can be dangerous. He might have the fear of rejection and that's why he doesn't come over.
