The highlands of Scotland are beautifull, what city if you have been there did you like the best?

Ullapool ......on the northwest coast.....as a boy I used to go camping there, fabulous place stay's light untill 11pm in the summer .....full of fishing boats.....there are also many very good b&b's to stay in.......

I'd have to agree with Pig Pen and say Ullapool was one of my favourite places as well. Other places (more villages than cities) include Lochinver, Achneshellach, Lochcarron and Elgol over on the island of Skye.

Elgol is probably my favourite though not as nice as it used to be. Few years ago it received a grant and modernised the harbour, built car parking, public toilets etc - lost a lot of it's charm.
