why the hell does every man propose to me right away. i want to take things slow- and it destroys the relationship. we spilt up and months later they are married or getting married. are men marriage happy? how do you propose to 2 people within a year? sadly this happens a lot - i have a nice ring collection. am i wrong to want to take things slow? it happened several times- advice please.

Start out by telling him you want to take it slow. If he doesn't respect your wishes, beat him to the punch and dump him.

Why are you accepting the rings and keeping them if your answer is no. Do you say yes, then cancel after you get the ring? Maybe you meet all the guys that want to get married quick.

no its good to go slow --- then again sometimes you know that the person is for you and you know you will be together but thats a mutual feeling and you still take it slow just to be sure it is love not infatuation
